DANIELLA FRATANGELO

Daniella is a Certified Pilates Instructor with over nine years experience transforming lives in San Diego and Las Vegas.  An avid dancer since the age of five, Daniella’s body was constantly taxed by the strains of dance. She fell in love with Pilates after personally observing its rehabilitative and therapeutic benefits. Realizing its potential as a form of physical and mental therapy for those plagued with injuries and ailments, Daniella dedicated herself to a career of helping others through Pilates.

Daniella graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance/Choreography, specializing in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz. She began studying Pilates while attending school and immediately noticed its benefits for dance–increased flexibility and constantly engaged abs kept her movements tight and centered. With her ideas about exercise and strength training transformed, Daniella decided to extend her training through the UNLV Department of Dance Division of Continuing Education Program and earned a certification in Pilates Mat Work & Pilates Apparatus. Her training focused on movement analysis, injury prevention, and injury rehabilitation.

In May of 2012, Cirque de Soleil hired Daniella to work with its Totem tour performers. Daniella used Pilates instruction to warm up the Cirque de Soleil’s elite athletes before they took the stage and help them avoid injuries. In October of 2013, she began teaching on the CoreAlign, a full-body, mobility, and standing-stability apparatus used by physical therapists. CoreAlign is used for musculoskeletal rehabilitation, performance enhancement, and general exercise, adding an exciting new dimension to Daniella’s Pilates instruction. In 2015, Daniella completed Lolita’s Workshop for Seniors through Pilates Anytime and PMA. This continuing education course allowed Daniella to understand how Pilates needs to be modified for the geriatric population, in order for them to fully enjoy the movement exercises and for the exercises to be safe and effective.

And currently she is getting certified in Yoga, Vinyasa Flow. She loves the many similarities and various contrasts between both Yoga and Pilates. Daniella’s Pilates instruction provides a fulfilling and rejuvenating way to transform your body and mind, helping you gain confidence and feel amazing about your body inside and out!
